Abdellali Hajjat is Associate Professor in Sociology at the Université libre de Bruxelles, member of the GERME (Group for Research on Ethnic Relations, Migration and Equality), principal investigator of the HERICOL research project (Colonial Legacies in Belgium) and co-founder of the Francophone academic journal Marronnages: Race and Social Sciences.
